HOP Tertiary Semester 1 card holders who are continuing their studies and therefore still qualify for tertiary fares need to renew their cards before 31 August 2011.

Renewals can be done through your tertiary institution or at the HOP counters at either Newmarket, New Lynn or Britomart.

HOP Accessible cardholders will need to renew by 30 September 2011. You will need your HOP Accessible card plus either your Total Mobility photo ID or RNZFB membership card to complete the renewal.

Accessible users  can renew their cards on the phone. Total Mobility cardholders should call 366 4 HOP (366 4467) while RNZFB only members should call 0800 24 3333. Renewals can also be undertaken in person at the HOP counters at Britomart, Newmarket and New Lynn.

Renewal takes five working days so you are advised to allow sufficient time before your card expires to complete the process. If you don’t renew in time, you will be charged adult fares until the renewal process is complete.
