What does a HOP Card cost?
HOP Cards can be purchased for a non-refundable $10 amount from retailers displaying the HOP and Snapper logo.

Go to your nearest retailer displaying a HOP and Snapper sign to top up your HOP Card.
HOP Cards with the Snapper sign can also be used to buy everyday items such as a newspaper, coffee or a sandwich.

What type of fare should I top up my HOP Card with?
HOP offers 2 top up options: For maximum convenience and flexibility you can load your HOP Card with e-money to any value you like, up to $300. And yes, concession cardholders can use e-money for travel on their HOP Card and still receive their discount! A 25c transaction fee is charged when you top up with e-money.
Your other option is to load 10 Trips - 10 rides for a set number of stages. Please note that 10 Trips are only available at selected retailers.
